  1. An excellent image and one whose subject is very dear to me. You’ve also chosen such an apt quote. My entire life I have hung our clothes on the line. Now that we’ve moved this winter, I no longer have a line and am in one of those silly areas that actually doesn’t allow them! I’m going to foil them anyway and buy a clothes rack for my deck. :~)

  2. Wow… Frozen in time. How long does it hang there? Must be for a couple of years at least…

  3. Lovely shot! A slice of life, wonderful and calm.

  4. pretty cool shot, nice dof too.. 🙂

  5. I think that clothes peg has claimed its place on that clothes line.

    A great photograph 🙂

  6. Himla fint foto, gillar den fina bakgrundsoskärpan och den gamla slitna klädnypan. Snyggt!

  7. A surprising, sweet and simple subject, beautifully portrayed.

  8. a stunning DOF, I also like the natural color tone

  9. It has seen its better days, Frida, but remains as a work of ark. Great eye! Astrid and I once watched a program on TV about how these clothespins are made. I never think of them in the same way anymore. 🙂

  10. practically perfect for me, wonderful and interesting abstract proposal

  14. Really cool and that is some nice creamy bokeh. Looks good.

  15. This clothespin has not seen a piece of fabric in a long time! Nicely captured. Lovely processing and tones.

  16. I like it when people make fine art of of everyday things. Love the detail and DOF.

  17. Good eye to see the possibility for this interesting close up of a very common place device. In that case it has retained a bit of the fabric it once gripped. Solid close up work.

  18. Nice capture. Wonder how long its been weathering.

  19. Very nice bokeh…

  20. a fine macro. (ah, those were the years when i hung the clothes on the line. in all seriousness, i have some wonderful memories of the smell, wind, times of rushing before a rain)
